We wanted a private tours coz of our mother who is a bit slow. This tour given by Juan was all we needed. Nice car, great driver and beautiful scenery. Fully recommended if you want to see places in a nice comfortable way.

We had Khan as our guide and he was extremely educated in the history if the cities. We absolutely loved learning from him! He was patient with us, fun to be around and a true professional. This tour was the best part of our trip! Worth every dime!!!

Our guide will pick you up from Hotel in the morning. Then you will drive to Salamanca crossing the mountain range of Guadarrama. In Salamanca you have the oldest university of Spain founded in 1218 AD. You will do a walking tour of the historical quarter of Salamanca. Firstly we will visit the university square with the beautiful university façade where you will find a Frog sculpture. Later we will see the Church of the Jesuits and house of the Shells. Then we reach the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca founded in the 18th century. It is considered the most beautiful square in Spain. Here you can find more than eighty medallions with the sculptures of imminent people of the Spanish history. Then we come walking to the double cathedral of Salamanca. It has an old building which is still conserved next to the new one. Here you can the see the evolution of different archeological styles over the centuries. Here in cathedral people are suprised to find an astronaut sculpture.

Afterwards we drive to Avila. In Avila we first stop at the CUATRO POSTES VIEWPOINT. From here you have the best views of the walls of Avila. Then enjoy a walking tour of Avila with your tour guide. In Avila you see the 11th century walls with monumental gates. You can also find some very old churches and the Cathedral of Avila. Avila is also the birth place of Saint Teresa of Avila and her church is also very famous. Lastly you will drive back to Madrid to your hotel.
