This first cathedral (the smaller) constructed in the 12th and 13th centuries combines the Gothic and the Romanic. What stand apart inside is the RETABLE OF THE HISTORY OF SALVATION, formed of 53 tablas which narrates its history like a comic. This method was very useful in the hour of evangelize the people of the city as most of the people were illiterate.
