Day -3 Madrid-Valencia After breakfast embark your journey to the Mediterranean city of Valencia capital of the Spanish region of Comunidad Valenciana. Valencia is on the Mediterranean Sea and has some of the most beautiful and popular beaches in the Spanish peninsula. It is also known for its Formula 1 and Moto GP urban circuits which run through the city. It is also home to the famous Spanish dish La Paella and the unmistakable drink of Orchata. On arrival check in the hotel then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a panoramic visit of the city centre with free time to roam around the city centre. After your stroll through the centre get ready to relax on one of the famous Mediterranean beaches. Remember Spain is a country in Europe with one of the highest sunlight hours; therefore you can enjoy the sun here up to around 10 P.M. in the summer months. After the beach head to the hotel. In its various buildings you can get to know different aspects of science, technology, nature, and art. Oceanografico is a mega-aquarium which displays all kinds of marine habitats of the world in its real form. You will be awed and dwarfed in front of the large Sharks and Walruses which roam freely in the huge water tunnels and tanks as you pass underneath to see them in their most natural form. After Breakfast check out from the hotel to embark the journey to the famous city of Barcelona. Your will drive along the Mediterranean coastline enjoying the beautiful scenery. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and is the capital of the Spanish region of Catalonia. It was the host to the 1992 Olympics. It is the home to famous football team of Barcelona, FCB. Also it is the site of a series of architectural works by the artist and architect Antonio Gaudi, awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO. Enjoy lunch and after that get driven to the famous walking avenue of the city, Las Ramblas which stretches from the beautiful Plaza of Catalonia to the Plaza of Colon, a square dedicated to the renowned Spanish explorer Cristobal Columbus, the discoverer of America. Las Ramblas is famous for its lively atmosphere. The street is lined with different kind of artists showing their skills for the entertainment of the people. After the visit to Las Ramblas you are driven back to the hotel.
Today in the morning you will enjoy a panoramic city tour of the modern city of Barcelona. We shall visit the Olympic stadium, Poblo Español, Parque Guell (a famous park built by the famous architect Antonio Gaudi) and Plaza de España. The sightseeing also takes you to the famous stadium of the FCB, the football club of Barcelona. Have lunch at a Local Restaurant and in the evening you can choose to go the famous La Roca Shopping Village on the outskirts where you can enjoy some last minute shopping.
