Perhaps the most famous of them all is the TOMATINA. This frenzied festival happen once a year in the small town of Bunyol near Valencia. More than 20000 participant come down to this small town which turns into a battle field for a few hours flowing not with blood but with tomato pulp. Of course the night before and after are of frolicking parties all around.
Running in front of Bulls may not be everyone’s cups of tea. But in the province of Pamplona, locals and outsiders line up from before the dawn to have their shot of Adrenaline when they jump in front of the Bulls when they are released to go to the fighting ring. They are not ordinary bulls but pedigree bulls built to kill the fighter. A good one can cost more than a family sedan. But its like a Gladiator fight, it has to kill or die.
